Peanut curry death: Restaurant owner 'lied to police'

Police have given their reaction after restaurant owner Mohammed Zaman was sentenced to six years in prison for the manslaughter of a customer who had an allergic reaction to a curry.

Paul Wilson, 38, suffered severe anaphylactic shock in January 2014 after eating a takeaway containing peanuts from the Indian Garden in Easingwold, North Yorkshire.

Det Insp Shaun Page from North Yorkshire Police said he was "delighted with the verdict".
