‘Fracking rumours cost us £50,000’

An appeal against Lancashire County Council's refusal to allow energy firm Cuadrilla to start fracking on two sites in the region is set to begin.

Marie and Rowland Taylor say they lost £50,000 after the possibility of fracking in the area devalued their home.

But Rev Michael Roberts, who is in favour of fracking, believes those opposed to it have been feeding false information into the debate.

Jim Reed reports.

The Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:15 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
