Cornish farmer celebrates 'one in a million' triplet calves

Farmer Bernard Hoskins is celebrating after one of the cows on his farm near Truro in Cornwall gave birth to triplets.

It is an extremely rare event described as a "one in a million" chance by bookies.

The three Friesian Belgian Blue crosses were named May, June and Juliet.

His daughter Lowenna, 25, who runs Greenacres Farm with him, said her father had been expecting twins from the cow.
