Emerging actor Kevin Leslie experience Cannes for the first time
An emerging actor from Shropshire says he is enjoying his first experience at the Cannes film festival, where he is making his debut.
Kevin Leslie from Newport is the lead actor in British Independent film The Rise of the Krays.
It is being screened at the Marche du Film, which runs alongside the main festival, and will see over 5,000 films being shown to critics, buyers and investors.
Hoping to be noticed by other directors, he said he the festival is about being in "the right place sat the right time".
Isabel Davis, from the BFI Film Fund, tells BBC Midlands Today Arts reporters Satnam Rana that she is in Cannes to help to re-enforce their message that the UK is great place to make films.
