Gayle Mill's restoration success story 10 years on

Gayle Mill in Hawes was a finalist in the BBC's Restoration TV series in 2004 but how has this historic saw mill in the Yorkshire Dales fared nearly a decade on?

There was a nationwide campaign to save the mill which was successful in gaining a Heritage Lottery award.

Nearly 10 years on, presenter Chris Jackson went to see how the mill's transformation from wreck to restored mill and museum has been achieved.

Restoring England's Heritage is broadcast on Thursday, 5 December on BBC One North East & Cumbria at 19:30 and nationwide on the iPlayer for seven days.
