Winter challenges for Nottingham A&E department

Inside Out spends the day with staff and patients at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre, one of the busiest emergency departments in the country.

With pressure to hit patient waiting time targets, the hospital is trying out a number of new ideas to ease the pressure on overworked staff.

Rob Sissons spoke to Nottingham University Hospitals Mark Brassington, Consultant Jamie Coleman and Dr Neil Fraser.

Inside Out East Midlands is broadcast on Monday, 16 September at 19:30 BST on BBC One and for seven days thereafter nationwide on the iPlayer.
