Thames barge restoration begins
Work has begun at a Devon port to restore a Thames barge dating back to 1904.
The Vigilant is believed to be one of only 30 such barges - which used to be based in London - to still exist.
It is being renovated by a team at Topsham Quay, near Exeter, who hope it to get it sailing again in 2014.
In its cargo-carrying days, the Vigilant was capable of carrying about 120 tonnes.
