Hayle bridge build captured on time lapse film

Work has started on the deck of a new bridge as part of a £14.2m harbour redevelopment in Cornwall.

A time-lapse film by Hayle Archive shows the pouring of concrete on the bridge deck over Copperhouse Pool.

The 60m (197ft) long bridge is part of improvements to Hayle, which include repairs to quays and a new flood wall.

Councillor John Pollard said the bridge signalled "the start of a new era for the town".
