Tadcaster bridge re-opening after 2015 Boxing Day floods

A North Yorkshire town that was split in two by the Boxing Day floods in 2015 will be re-united on Friday when its only road bridge reopens.

Up until now, residents in Tadcaster could only cross the River Wharfe via a temporary footbridge or face a lengthy detour, after the Grade II listed structure was damaged by winter flooding.
