Saddam Hussein 'the most secretive person I ever met'

When former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was captured in December 2003, ex-CIA agent John Nixon was the first person to interrogate him at length.

He tells the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme how he questioned Saddam Hussein over allegations of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

Hussein, he says, was the most "secretive and suspicious" man he has ever met.

The BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
