Football abuse: Coach was 'like messiah'

Southampton Football Club's former coach Bob Higgins has been named in connection with allegations of historical sexual abuse of children.

One of Mr Higgins' alleged victims, Gary Stray, was a Southampton youth team player - he has waived his right to anonymity. Mr Stray tells the Today programme how criticism of their football coach was "frowned upon" by other players.

Bob Higgins denies any wrongdoing. The BBC has contacted Mr Higgins and he has not responded.
