Rantzen: VIP paedophile probe 'side effect of Savile'

The founder of the child protection charity Childline has credited the Met police commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe for apologising and accepting the recommendations set forth by an independent review.

Dame Esther Rantzen told the PM programme that investigations into paedophile allegations against VIPs were not easy and that "not everybody tells the truth".
