Alton Towers crash victim Vicky Balch 'not angry'

A woman who lost a leg in the Smiler rollercoaster crash at Alton Towers has told the Victoria Derbyshire programme she doesn't "see the point of being angry" about what happened.

Last week, Alton Towers' operator was fined £5m over the collision last year, with the judge calling the crash a "catastrophic failure" which was "'needless and avoidable".

However, Vicky Balch - one of 16 people hurt on the ride - said things "could have turned out worse".
