'You're expected to do well, look good, have friends ...'

Girls in Britain are becoming more miserable, according to an annual report from the Children's Society.

Among 10 to 15-year-old girls, the charity's report says 14% are unhappy with their lives as a whole, and 34% with their appearance.

One group of girls at a dance school near Manchester have been talking about the pressure to look good on social media.
