‘I ran Iraqi province with no experience’

British diplomat Emma Sky volunteered to help in the reconstruction of Iraq just months after the war.

Within two weeks of arriving in the country she was put in charge of an entire province, having had no similar experience in the past.

She explains to Today programme presenter John Humphrys what went wrong in the coalition strategy to rebuild Iraq.
