Whaddon: Secret life of village that helped crack WW2 code

The little known Buckinghamshire village of Whaddon kept a huge secret which has now been officially marked.

It was codenamed Section 8 and was a satellite station for Bletchley Park, the code breakers of World War Two.

It's been 75 years since Whaddon began transmissions - but what role did it play in defeating Nazi Germany?
