EU referendum: UK is safer in, say ex-intelligence chiefs

Leaving the EU would make the UK "less safe", two former intelligence services chiefs have warned.

Former MI6 boss Sir John Sawers and ex-MI5 chief Lord Evans stepped into the debate with an article in the Sunday Times.

But Justice Secretary Michael Gove, who backs the campaign for the UK to leave the EU, said Sir John was "flat wrong".
