From a Tottenham estate to Sandhurst's highest honour

A black cadet who has worked his way up through the ranks at Sandhurst is due to be awarded the sword of honour, the highest accolade.

Kidane Cousland's family and friends told him not sign up, saying the army was just for white people.

Jonathan Beale has met Kidane, who described how different life at Sandhurst was to the streets where he grew up.
