BBC director general: 'We could have done something'

The BBC's director general Lord Hall has responded to the findings of the Dame Janet Smith review into abuse by Jimmy Savile and Stuart Hall.

He told Lucy Manning: "We could have done something to stop this", adding "today is about apology to the victims".
