Cost of floods likely to reach £1.3bn, say insurers

The Association of British Insurers says the total cost of damage caused by storms in December is likely to reach £1.3bn.

More than 20,000 insurance claims have been made following the recent flooding in Northern England and Scotland.

Insurers have been accused of being slow to react.
