On patrol with police in Northampton on 'Black Eye Friday'

The last weekend before the Christmas holiday is usually one of the busiest days of the year for UK pubs and clubs

Charities and Public Health England warned people to drink responsibly on "Black Eye Friday".

BBC News followed police in Northampton who were on patrol on Friday night and found that as well as the people spilling out of pubs and clubs, there were other members of the public, and essential work, which took up their time.
