Npower: £26m record fine for 'chaotic' customer service

The energy company Npower has been fined a record £26m after it sent out late or inaccurate bills and failed to deal with complaints properly.

The industry watchdog Ofgem said that more than half a million customers were affected.

As Simon Gompertz reports, Ofgem could take the unprecedented step of stopping Npower advertising for new customers.
