RAF Akrotiri: How is a jet refuelled mid-air?

After MPs voted in favour of extending airstrikes to Syria as well as Iraq, BBC Radio 5 live has been given unprecedented access to RAF Akrotiri, the airbase in Cyprus where the mission is being co-ordinated.

The Voyager, a former civilian aircraft, has been adapted for military use and re-fuels coalition jets thousands of feet above some of the most hostile parts of the Middle East, as one RAF pilot explained.
