Sexting teacher 'asked me to send naked pics'

Damages have been awarded to a victim of "sexting" for the first time, the BBC has learned.

The legal precedent was set in a case where a pupil - who was a teenager at the time - was encouraged to text sexually explicit photographs of herself to a teacher.

The BBC has spoken to the victim in the case, who is now aged in her 20s but cannot be named for legal reasons.

Speaking to the BBC's Clive Coleman, she told how, when she was a pupil, her relationship with the teacher developed slowly.
