Paris attacks: School boss explains why he called off France school trips

The Foreign Office has advised British schools not to take groups of pupils on school trips to France in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.

Teachers from Tollbar Academy in Grimsby had been planning to take two groups of Year 8 pupils to northern France but have cancelled the trips.

Speaking on the Victoria Derbyshire Show, chief executive David Hampson explained why he called off the visits even before the Foreign Office advice was issued.
