Phone fraud: Five deny £600k scam targeting pensioners

A jury at the Old Bailey has heard how 18 pensioners were allegedly tricked out of £600,000 by fraudsters.

In each case the victim was called at home by someone claiming to be a police officer who told them that their bank savings were at risk.

Five men in their twenties deny the charges.

BBC Home Affairs correspondent June Kelly reports.
