Migrant crisis: How is haulage industry affected?

The Calais migrant crisis is costing the road haulage industry £750,000 per day, with delays and queues holding up the flow of traffic.

Many lorry drivers say they are also increasingly concerned for their safety, facing threats from smuggling gangs, migrants trying to break into their trucks and potential fines if they fail to detect stowaways.
