Increase in discarded plastic leads to underwater clean-up

An increase in the amount of plastic rubbish on Britain's beaches can spoil the traditional summer holiday, but it is not just the rubbish on the beach which is causing an eyesore.

Some eight million tonnes of plastic enters the the world's oceans every year, causing damage to marine life and the fragile ecoystem.

Caroline Rigby reports from Cornwall, where a group of divers is cleaning below the shoreline as well as above it.
