UK Muslim family discuss draw of joining IS

The disappearance of 12 people from the same family is thought to be the latest in the steady trickle of Britons leaving the country to join Islamist extremist groups.

But what makes some people leave everything behind to join groups like Islamic State, while others would never dream of it?

The BBC Asian Network's Shabnam Mahmood met one Muslim family in West Yorkshire to talk about the role of social media and the draw of IS.
