Network Rail faces scrutiny over delays and punctuality

Network Rail is to be investigated over accusations it delivered poor punctuality and reliability on some of its busiest commuter routes.

Train services run by Southern, Thameslink and ScotRail all missed punctuality targets, the Office of Road and Rail (ORR) said. Network Rail maintains the rail system.
