'Weather not discussed' before SAS march in Brecon Beacons

An army officer in charge of a military exercise in the Brecon Beacons has told an inquest into the deaths of three soldiers that he had not realised the training march was taking place on the hottest day of the year.

One instructor on duty during the selection exercise told the inquest there was "no reason" to discuss the weather.

Lance Corporals Craig Roberts, Edward Maher and Corporal James Dunsby collapsed with heatstroke in July 2013 and later died.

Hywel Griffith reports from the Brecon Beacons.
