Terror watchdog says new laws needed for online surveillance

The UK's terror watchdog says new laws are needed to cover security services' powers to monitor online activity.

David Anderson QC, the independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said the UK needed comprehensive intrusive power rules.

The Home Secretary Theresa May has told MPs that threats to Britain's security should not be overlooked.
