Women in British infantry: Roles should be based on 'ability not gender'

The Ministry of Defence have reviewed women serving in close combat. They concluded that it would not have an "adverse effect" on troop cohesion.

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon told the BBC the roles "should be determined by ability and not gender".
