'Weather bomb' Shipping Forecast round-up

Coastal parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England have been battered by strong winds and huge waves as a so-called 'weather bomb' struck the UK.

Travel disruption including ferry cancellations were reported and thousands of homes were left without power.
