The Papers: Wednesday's front pages

The historian and Telegraph columnist, Tim Stanley, and the Guardian's social affairs editor Randeep Ramesh joined the BBC News Channel to review Wednesday's front pages.

They began with the Guardian's front-page story - the jailing of South African sprinter Oscar Pistorius for shooting dead his girlfriend, the model Reeva Steenkamp and whether justice was seen to be done.

They also discussed a critical report which suggests that dozens of violent foreign criminals have disappeared after being released from British jails.
