Nepal snowstorm survivor recalls near-death experience

A survivor of the snow storms in Nepal has spoken about the moment tragedy struck him and his fellow hikers.

Paul Sherriden told reporters that the experience was "the closest I've ever come to dying in the mountains".

At least 39 people died and over 200 have been rescued after avalanches and blizzards hit the Annapurna mountain range.

Danny Savage reports.
