The papers: Sunday's front pages

Author and journalist Eve Pollard and Independent columnist Yasmin Alibhai-Brown joined the BBC News Channel to look at Sunday's top stories.

They discussed the Observer's lead story about a possible "deal" between the main parties to offer a federal solution to tempt Scottish voters to reject independence.

The Sunday Telegraph's top story, suggesting MPs are to get a 10% pay rise, was also debated.

And there was time to examine the Telegraph's tale about French bookshops boycotting the memoirs of former first lady Valérie Trierweiler.
