Police investigating a murder in Edmonton say it was 'very unusual'

Police investigating the murder of a woman in a back garden - who it is believed was beheaded - have been briefing reporters on the case.

The attack happened at lunchtime on Thursday in Edmonton.

Armed police have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

Commander Simon Letchford from the Metropolitan Police said they did not believe the attack was terrorist related.
