Pupils begin 'tough' new curriculum

Five-year-olds will be learning fractions and computer coding as part of a new national curriculum introduced in schools in England this week.

Some have argued that the changes are unrealistic, but the Department for Education says it will equip children with knowledge and skills for the modern world.
