UK 'failing' to get the most out of its heritage

The UK is failing to make the most of its heritage, according to new research by the Royal Society for the Arts.

The charity says some of the UK's best-loved assets remain largely untapped by local authorities and could play a much greater role in helping local areas thrive.

John Maguire reports from Bristol which has spent more than £11m on its heritage assets.
