Police deny 'failure' over Cardiff jihadists

The head of counter terrorism in Wales has denied the police failed in their efforts to combat the radicalisation of British Muslims.

Assistant Chief Constable Nikki Holland has told the BBC that the police "can't keep hold of absolutely everybody but they're doing the best job that they can"

However, the father of one British Muslim fighting abroad disagrees and believes that police strategies set up to combat radicalisation of young Muslims are failing.

Hywel Griffith reports.
