Minister 'horrified' no minimum training for care workers

The Minister for Care and Support, Norman Lamb, has told the BBC that he was horrified that there was no minimum standard of training for care workers.

The BBC has learned that from March next year, new care workers will have to earn a training certificate within 12 weeks of starting at a hospital or care home.

Mr Lamb told BBC Breakfast that this was an important change.
