IPCC: Police treated Sean Rigg like a dog says sister

Sean Rigg died in custody when he was 40 years old and an inquest later found officers had used unsuitable force when they restrained him.

He suffered from mental health problems and his family has always maintained they were badly let down by the initial Independent Police Complaints Commission report into his death.

Today, the IPCC has announced an overhaul of the way they deal with such cases.

Sean's sister Marcia said these changes would help build faith in the police.
