Dennehy: 'It is absolutely right she won't come out of prison' - police

Triple killer Joanne Dennehy has been handed a whole-life sentence by a judge, who said she was "cruel, calculating and manipulative".

The judge at the Old Bailey, Mr Justice Spencer, revealed Joanne Dennehy had sent him a letter saying she was not sorry for those she murdered.

Following sentencing, the brother-in-law of Kevin Lee, one of her victims, said the family suffered each day with the pain Dennehy had created.

And Det Ch Insp Martin Brunning, who led the investigation, said: "It is absolutely the right thing that she won't come out of prison".
