The papers: Tuesday's front pages

Broadcaster Penny Smith and Guardian social affairs editor Randeep Ramesh cast their eyes over Tuesday's newspapers for the BBC News Channel.

They began by discussing front pages highlighting cabinet disharmony over Chancellor George Osborne's proposals for cuts to the welfare budget.

They moved on to the Daily Mail's lead story about Environment Secretary Owen Paterson calling for people to buy more home-grown food, discussed the papers' weather coverage and then talked about the Daily Express's front page describing a stock market boost for pension funds.
