Cycling safety: What the UK could learn from New York
As the number of people choosing to use a bike to get around increases, there is also growing concern about the conditions they have to cycle in.
Former Olympian Chris Boardman recently visited New York to find out how the city has improved safety not just for people on bikes but for pedestrians and those in motor vehicles.
He and New York City transport policy director Jon Orcott spoke to the BBC about how making space for bikes has helped increase safety for everyone.
