Boris thanks his London cycle ride 'good Samaritan'
More than 20,000 cyclists have been taking part in a 100-mile race from London to Surrey on the second day of the UK's largest ever mass participation cycling event.
Twenty-five top professional cycling teams also competed over an extended version of the route.
London Mayor Boris Johnson was one of the participants who set off early on Sunday morning from the Olympic Park in Stratford, east London.
He described a hitch with a puncture in Cobham, Surrey, and how a ''good Samaritan'' came to his aid.
