Police raids target illegal immigrants

The Home Office has been carrying out a major UK-wide operation to find illegal immigrants living and working in the UK.

Meanwhile, the BBC has learnt that two thirds of fines issued to employers of illegal workers in the last five years have not been paid.

Figures show the Home Office issued almost £80m in fines but has collected only £25m.

Hywel Griffiths reports.
