David Cameron: UK will 'work closely with Algeria'

Prime Minister David Cameron says the UK will work closely with the Algerian government to help combat the threat of terrorism.

He was addressing MPs in the House of Commons on the Algerian hostage crisis at In Amenas gas plant.

Mr Cameron said the hostage crisis highlighted the need for a "strong security response" matched by an "intelligent political response".
