Leveson report calls for new independent regulator

Lord Justice Leveson has called for a new regulatory body independent of the press and politicians to enforce press standards.

After an eight month inquiry he concluded parts of the media had often been "reckless" and had "wreaked havoc on the lives of innocent people".

Nicholas Witchell reports.
